File search feature too vague and rudimentary.. think wildcards :)

File search feature too vague.. it'd be srsly good with ISO date-time criteria, operators. wildcards and regex :) novices and casual users might find it ok but with SE having a serious place in a techie's toolbox I hope theres a chance to iron it out.
Nothing on Android is perfect but SE kicks goals and time should flesh it so thanks for working so hard.. from for all of us!

    I need to remove some files; something like:

    rm ._*.flac

    I have a gazillion files on my SD card (remnants from a Mac encounter) that are in the format:

    ._songname.flac

    I've tried all other file managers and it's a no go.

    Any chance of this in SE?

    Even simple & ! | (Or alternatively AND NOT OR) operators would make the file search function immensely more useful

    I'd like like to see a more sophisticated search function too. And the ability to change directory to the current selected file in the results. Would be great to chose active or passive window for the cd command.
