I'd love to see a Samba Server plugin for Solid Explorer, similar to the FTP Server plugin, which makes the Android device itself act as a Samba server. This would make it easy and convenient to connect to the device from a PC or Mac, and even to map the device to the PC as a Windows drive letter (ie. network folder). This would be even more convenient than FTP, for sharing files to and from the Android device.

There was an Android app called SambaDroid which did exactly this, but it doesn't work on the latest versions of Android and isn't being developed anymore.
