Very slow SMB connection
Connection to Lan/SMB share are very slow, near 20 seconds. ES and TC do it much more quickly

Completely broken for me now. Even after the bug fix today. Can't authenticate like usual. Used to be really slow to connect (literally 10 to 15 seconds) when it did connect.

The next affected. I use ES for samba shares and SE for all other file operations.

Yeah, same problem here. The first connection took 20s or more.

Same here... Super slow to connect with Win 7 smb shares. With ES and other file managers it's almost instantaneous. I see this problem has been current for over 1 year so I suppose you don't know how to speed it up?

Super slow to connect with Win 7 smb shares, 10 seconds or more and also needs to reconnect often. With ES it's almost instantaneous.

Connecting to LAN shares on win7 tasks about 10-15 sec, while ES connects to the very same shares instantly.

Voting, Solid Explorer seems to drag it's feet when reading from a Debian samba host, but is lightning quick when accessing a Windows share (Win7 on another machine and Server 2016 on the same hardware). Tweaking smb.conf with the usual performance tweaks doesn't make a difference, and ES is lightning quick on the same Debian server.
