  1. Cannot write to open share

    Can not write to 'Everyone' share on my server , access denied , I assume SMB protocol issue with Solid , this is one if the reasons I bought this

  2. android tv compatibility

    It would be great if I could install this on my Android TV, currently Google Play lists itas incompatible.

    I used to use ES Filemanager for this, but it deteriorated so much I uninstalled it.

    The main difference on Android Tvs is no touch input, the remote control basically has cursor buttons, numbers, OK (enter?) and Back

  6. Copy to SD blocked (new problem)

    I get an error message about the root and a "failed" notification when I attempt to move files from internal to SD. I click enable, but nothing changes. This did not happen a month ago when I organized and moved hundreds of files to the card with this app. What gives? Id attach a screen shot, but the attach is not working.

  9. New "Mark as viewed" tick.

    I use the Solid explorer in combination with media players to get streamed videos. It would be great if there would be an option to mark the video files as viewed. Would help for series a lot.

  11. My SD Card is not shown in the left menue as part of the category memory.

    My SD Card is not shown in the left menue as part of the category "memory". There is only root directory and internal memory.

    I can manually go to the sdcard directory, but then I have only the rights to read.

    I use a Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact with android 8.0

  12. Micro SD problem

    Xperia XZ1 Compact, android 8.0. Solid Explorer cant write my Samsung 128 micro SD. Any other app like Total Commander, Root Explorer or Mixplorer can. Even built in Android file manager can. I already give permission to write and read files at first start up. Interesting fact is that I can see (just that, not write) my SD card if I go to Root / Storage / micros. But I don't see my micro SD card as a normale storage at the left main menu

  13. Add an option for ftp connection keep alive

    When manipulating files over sftp, a connection is opened for every action (copy, move, open image etc.).
    Would it be possible to keep the initial connection alive and do everything over the single connection?

  14. Add an "Edit in" or "Open in" option to the ImageViewer

    Most gallery and image viewers have an "Open in" or "Edit in" menu item to open the image in an image editor. This is different from "Share" in that you will be saving the edited image directly where you opened it from. The ImageViewer lack this option making it a bit less convenient to use than other viewers.

  17. Photos category is empty...

    Hi,
    Managed to shoot myself in the foot. Recently installed solid Explorer, tried to "hide" book covers from Photos on my Shield Tablet & all the photos in the Photos collection disappeared. There is nothing in hidden folders.
    I uninstalled reinstalled. I used a restore from my Moto E4. Nothing brings back the photo collection.
    The inbuilt photo viewer suddenly does not work either- maybe that will help with troubleshooting?

    What can I do?

  18. Add support for extracting .xz archives

    Solid Explorer can't extract .xz archives, so it requires using a different app such as winrar to extract it. Would be great if Solid Explorer supported this in a future update.

  19. "File copy" notification won't quit, how to force quit a Solid Explorer notification?

    I started a "File copy" operation a few days ago which must have gotten aborted, can't recall if I was low on battery & the phone shut down or what. But the notification that says a file copy operation is in progress and 44% complete is just stuck and will not quit. Is there a way to force quit it?

  20. SE Image Viewer poor quality

    The built in SE Image Viewer seems to compress images very highly probably to save RAM but the image quality is terrible compared to other viewers. I would use another app but it seems like I can only scroll between pictures in the same encrypted location when using the built in SE Image Viewer. Other apps won't let you scroll. If there is a way to use another app to scroll between images within an encrypted folder, please let me know! Either that or add an option to improve the image quality of the SE Image Viewer.
