  1. SMB files can't be deleted

    I'm using SMB to play video, after closing the third party player, the "steaming" notification is also gone, then I try to delete this video file, it can't be deleted.

    Error is "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.".

    This error is also happened on image file, I don't need to open the image file, the snapshot is displayed on where the file icon is, it also can't be deleted when I try to delete it.

    I'm using another file manager named FX, it works without any problem.

  2. Problems with the thumbnail images.

    In versions 2.1.8 - v2.1.13 thumbnails not working when I connect via sftp. Version 2.1.7 works fine.

  3. 'Open file with....' Option not working

    I like the app, but I really hate that I don't have the option to open files or share them with a lot of my apps. Every free(!) File manager lets me open/share my files with any app supporting it, but solid explorer is the only exception.

    For example, every time I want to open/restore my bitcoin wallet, I have to install a free file manager that lets me do that.
    I don't mind if I have to pay a buck for otg or mega plugin, I know you have to make a living. But to install two sperate file…

    Introduce multithreaded copy and paste to speed up such operations.
    Improve speed of opening large files and documents.
    Finally, polish up the text editor,,, it's a very important feature

  5. media on SMB not playing

    I just got my Galaxy s7 and I am no longer able to play video files from an smb share using SE regardless of the video app i select.

    I can open smb shared video files via SE on my Galaxy s5.

    I was to use the built in smb connection in bs player on the Galaxy s7 successfully.

    Perhaps there is an issue with the SE streaming server on Marshmallow or this device.

  6. streaming problems with versions post 2.1.7

    Keep forgetting about this problem and update only to end up reinstalling 2.1.7.

    When watching HD films steamed from my NAS drive they freeze often and I note that when trying to get it going again by sliding the bar it crashes mx player. This happens less if I switch to SW decoder but it still happens.

    The problem first appeared worth 2.1.10. I gave up on that and went back to 2.1.7 and the problem went away. Forgetting about this I updated the other day to 2.1.12 and it started to happen again, so I guess I'm going to…

    I'd like to see white as an accent color. The current ones don't go well with most of the "main" colors.

  12. Shield K1 Tablet Marshmallow - Cannot copy files onto SD Card

    5.1.1 it worked fine. As soon as I upgraded to Marshmallow it stopped working.

    I can't copy files from anywhere else onto the SD Card. I can create folders. I can delete files. It appears as though other apps can create stuff on the SD Card, but I cannot use Solid Explorer to copy files onto the SD Card. I have 'granted' permissions to the root of the SD card over and over again after countless formats of the card (ext3, NTFS) and uninstalls and reinstalls.

    Any idea what's going on? It's almost as though whatever file gets 'tweaked' to…

  13. SDK for third-party plugins

    Hey,

    I am currently checking out your app and really like it so far.

    After a bit of searching I read on reddit and the old support page, that there is already a public API/SDK for storage plugins in development.

    Therefore I would like to know the status of this, is it still planned?

    Would be great if this Cloud would get supoorted. It is a German Cloud and has nice features like 30 GB free storage.

  15. Permissions r/w

    I paid for this app because it's really good, but i'm really sorry because don't have permissions of read and write on the internal storage, in few words not allow me erase anything of the internal storage of my smartphone (ZTE Blade v6) and I do not think the problem is on my device, really i think this "bug" should corrected NOW!

  16. FTP funktionality in in latest Version (2.1.11 Update 1; Build 160213.Y.2)

    FTP doesen't work anymore in above mentioned version. Version bevore worked perfektly.
    Tested on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (Android 5.0.2), Motorola Moto G 2. Gen. (Android 5.0.2) and Motorola Moto X Style (Android 6.0) Always the same result. App crashes while trying to connect.

  17. Mx Player support

    It would be nice to watch Videos with MX Player. Alternativ u could add another point in the choose menu other to choose any App installed. This feature should always work if i want to open files with an special app.

  19. Alternative payment options to Google Play

    I don't like to share my Account Details with Google. It would be nice if you could offer a direct payment (Threema also offers this) or payment with the Amazon Store.

    I know that there is also a "question" thread but I like to open it as Feature Request to see how many also need this feature. As far as Solid Explorer can only be bought on GP I will not be your paying customer ;)

    Reasons for an alternative payment option:

    Google haters will love it
    Kindle devices dont use Google Play
    Amazon gift cards can be used for…

  20. Name USB Devices

    I have got one question concerning the OTG function. Is it somehow possible to give connected devices specific names?
    When I'm travelling I work only with my phone and so have a SD-Card, USB-Stick and 2 Harddiscs connected at the same time. So they are all called USBx for x=1,2,3,4.
    It would make it a lot easier to name the different Devices with specific names to get a faster overview.
