    Does anyone know how to access dollar shares from solid explorer? I'm trying to access a hidden dollar share on a windows host from my android. I know the dollar share is accessible because I can access it from a different windows machine

  2. Back Button Issue

    I recently installed Solid Explorer and I loved it. But there is an issue. I earlier used other explorers and used the back button to exit them. I used to tap repeatedly on back button to go back quickly to hone directory and then immediately exit to thw home screen. When I tap repeatedly in Solid Explorer, it stays in the same folder and replays the animation. I want the explorer to go back on each tap and then eventually exit.   3. Chromecast

    I sent a bug report on this issue.

    I have a Nexus 5x with 7.1.2 running the latest release of SE. The issue is that when I attempt to cast from SE to my Chromecast the application fails and crashes... Every single time. Does anyone else have this issue?

  5. Create a hash file, eg foo.zip -> foo.zip.md5. I did not find any app that can do that in Play Store

  6. SMB connection with Linux PC

    I'm trying to establish an SMB connection with my PC, which runs Linux Mint 18.1. I make the folders I want shared, then create a new smb connection in Solid Explorer, I get the list of the folders that I shared, but when I try to open any of them I get a message "The network name cannot be found".
    Previously, with Windows OS, I had no issues. Please, give me some help.

  7. Add Adobe cloud storage

    Lots of people use Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat DC. Both of these products include cloud storage, Creative Cloud and Document Cloud respectively.

    It would be great if we could access these cloud storage accounts through Solid Explorer.

  8. Trustlook Security lists Solid Explorer as a Virus and states I should uninstall it! What is the problem? PLEASE reply ASAP!!

  10. Cache folder taking excessive space

    The folder created by Solid Explorer on /Android/Data/pl.solidexplorer2 is taking excessive memory (about 700 MB) for cache purpose.
    Either the app should minimize this cache or delete it on exit, because 700 MB is useless for me now.

  12. Sending files whose names contain ":" or "?" to Windows could lead to corrupted file

    What I did:
    made file and named it something with ":" character, say, "foobar: coolvideo.mp4".
    sent it to Windows machine (Samba) via wi-fi.
    then the file name would become "foobar" and its size will be zero.

    You would better to throw exception on illegal file names.

  16. Option to load all thumbnails, not just the ones currently in view

    I have couple of folders on OneDrive with several thousand pictures. When I switch to gallery view, the thumbnails start to load, but only the ones that are currently in view. Loading all thumbnails is a pain because you have to manually scroll page by page to load them. I understand this is to save data, but I would like an option where when you go into a folder ALL thumbnails load regardless of them being in view or not. That way, you can enter a folder, leave it for a few minutes and then scroll with all thumbnails loaded.

  17. Select multiple in range

    Need the ability to select multiple files in a range. The equivalent to holding shift on Windows explorer. Click the first file, the the last file, then select everything in between with a button.

  19. Cannot add shortcut to documents folder

    Please add ability to create shortcut for documents folder. When I try it says it cannot be done. Is that not allowed or is it a problem? Thanks. Loving the app.
