  2. automatically sync with cloud service

    I would like to see an option to sync local folders with the cloud on a periodic basis. kind of like foldersync.
    The user should have the option for two way sync or one way.

  4. Clear the search text

    The app search function doesn't have a clear option. It appears to be an oversight as the search here in uservoice has the circled X option to clear the field.

  5. More archive formats support

    Support more archive formats as (maybe as plugin):
    Extract and create Zip/Zip64 (splitted-encrypted), TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2 (very helpful for TitaniumBackup), GZIP, BZIP2 and extract RAR (splitted-encrypted, RAR5), XZ, APM, CAB, ISO, ARJ, AR, LZH, LHA, CHM, MSI, WIM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB, NSIS, LZMA, NTFS, FAT, VHD, MBR, SWM, MSLZ, CramFS, Dmg, ELF, MachO, Mub, PE, Split, Xar, Z, Udf, HFS, SquashFS, PPMD.

    This can be the best file manager on Android! :)

  6. (Bug) Show Folder Size

    Many not empty folders but show them empty

    I seen this bug post here had a long time ago,
    but still can't fix it yet, why so hard to fix it?

  10. Files beginning with numbers not sorted properly

    I have some files with random names but all beginning with a number. I noticed that these particular files would not be in the correct alphabetical order (1). If I go to the View mode, change the sorting order, go back, and change it back to alphabetical, it will be correctly sorted (pic 2). However if I then close Solid Explorer and restart it, the number files will go back to their improper order (pic 1).   11. bring back drag and drop

    Will the options we have in Solid Explorer ever make their way over to Solid Explorer 2.0?
    Specifically the great option to make drag and drop easy again? In the old Solid Explorer you can just drag and drop items from panel to panel, but in Solid Explorer 2.0 you need to long press, then release, then long press the same item a second time, then drag to second panel, wait for a pop up each time asking you what you want to do, and then select "move" from the list, where all you needed to do in Solid Explorer…

  12. IPv6 Support

    Currently, Solid Explorer doesn’t support IPv6 at all. One cannot enter IPv6 addresses (they are deemed invalid) and connections to DNS names that resolve to IPv6 addresses fail (ACK replies from remote host are somehow ignored).

    Because the underlying Android architecture most likely supports IPv6, the required changes should be easy.

    On the other hand, if support for this isn’t coming, it should not try to connect to IPv6 addresses.

  15. Tasker Support

    Hi!

    I'm using this awesome app but I think that it can be improved.

    Tasker is an app to automate action based on context and it has a huge community. I think everybody know what Tasker is.

    My idea is to add Tasker Support, using Solid Explorer as Tasker plugin, to be able to move files, or upload it to cloud at specific time or context.

    If you can't make a plugin, you can do a system to program uploads.

    I'm using other app to do this, but I love Solid Explorer and I don't want to use other app.

  18. mega cloud connection error

    I bought mega plugin. I filled my credentials and it accepted. However, the next step on connection has a problem. Mega cloud wants to know master password. I pasted my master password on plugin, there is no progress.

    Ps: I know differences my account pasword and master password.

  19. ed25519 SSH identity key support

    DSA has been disabled by default in OpenSSH 7.0 due to security issues. ed25519 and edcsa are the new recommended standards. They have been supported since OpenSSH 5.6 However, Solid Explorer treats the keys as invalid.

  20. I can't connect to my Synology NAS from outside my home network

    What works: LAN/SMB connection to NAS from within home network

    What doesn't work: LAN/SMB connection to NAS from outside home network via "myfritz" DDNS by the router and forwarding port 5001 to the NAS. The address that works (!) in a browser is something like this https://somecrypticcharacters.myfritz.net:5001 It also works in the NAS app "DS file" of Synology. But Solid Explorer can't find the host. I've tried different combinations of the ports 5001 & 445, both in the address line and in the extra port field. Nothing worked.

    What am I doing wrong?
