  1. SFTP key

    Please document the procedure for setting up SFTP with a private key. I've been trying it without luck, and while it seems like some have gotten it to work, there are no actual instructions that I've been able to find.

    What key formats are known to work?

    If the key is specified by filename, does the filename need a special format?

    I'm trying to connect to Fedora36. Key is in OPENSSH format, and the connection always fails.

  3. shortcuts that Solid Explorer create for text files fail

    Solid Explorer will create shortcuts for documents (Open Office -> Andropenoffice e.g. odt or ods files etc.). The shortcuts work for about a day, then they fail with error "no content provider." I think Android has a file scanner, and when it find a shortcut that does not point to a cloud URL, the file system corrects the shortcut somehow to remove the file pointer. Thanks a lot Google.   5. Confused about network login for reset W10 pc

    I recently reset my PC while retaining my personal data. In order to bypass password entry on startup I created a local account "Ron" and added a PIN. The PC starts without an issue and bypasses login screen.

    The problem I have now is I cannot find a way to log in to my server from Solid Explorer because my Microsoft login is no longer accepted and no combination of my local user name and either the PIN or Microsoft password works.

  7. Failed to log in Google Drive on Chromecast Stick

    I have the latest release of solid explorer. It won't allow me to log into my google drive to download the files I need on my Chromecast Stick. The error message says "Something Went Wrong" "This app is not supported"

  11. FTP Server does not start in SE 2.8.20

    SE Pro 2.8.20 installed in Samsung Tab6 FE with Android 11.
    FTP Server configured with user/pw.
    Under server status I see ftp://user@devIPaddr:myport.
    Below that a Start button.

    Pressing Start results in "Unable to start FTP Server"

    No other information, and I'm unable to find any logs.
    I tried setting directory to internal and sdcard file system and have same result.

  13. Incorrect "Date Modified" Over SMB

    Hi. I wanted to report a bug with all recent (or maybe all) version of Solid Explorer:

    When I connect to my desktop computer running Windows 10 over SMB, the "Date Modified" of the files that Solid Explorer is reading are all incorrect, and do not match any of the date fields of the file. I am not sure where Solid Explorer is even getting that date from.

  14. cannot access SD card or USB Stick

    I am using solid explorer on a Galaxy Tab S6 and an external card reader to copy pictures from my camera to the tablet.
    This worked fine for more than a year and stopped working last week. Solid explorer does not recognize the SD card or USB stick. I get the error message "access denied". The SD card works fine when using a computer.
    Does any one have an idea what I should do?

    EntitlementDataStore.ecml contains your license properties and if this system file gets damaged or corrupted then you can get error 3371 status code 11118 QuickBooks could not load the license data. The reason for causing an error like this is because of one thing: entitlements are not being saved properly when they’re supposed to be loaded into RAM by Entitlements Manager during startup process after shut down.
