Backup service for storage
Would be nice to incoporate scheduled backup service for storage manager.
E.g. the ability to make a scheduled backup of data from say a LAN/SMB or cloud service location to your internal memory.

Shortcut to open text editor
At the moment, one can only enter the SE text editor when opening a file from explorer. I would love to have a shortcut on my homescreen, which directly opens the text editor. (No file loaded, write a text and save as new).

Delete all empty folders on app start
Many Android apps keep creating empty folders in the file system. These folders are annoying because take up needless screen space, and they waste time when you check their contents.
I currently use an app to delete empty folders every time before opening Solid Explorer. But it would be nice if SE had an option to automatically delete all empty folders when you start the app!

FTP Server Toggle Widget
Add a toggle widget for the FTP server, that allows the server to be switched on and off directly from the home screen. Make the icon reflect the status.
Bonus: include an option 'turn server off x min after last activity'

Select interval
Please bring in option for selecting files at interval. For eg. If I want to select files from 10 to 25 out of 1 to 30, I need to select first and last file i.e. 10 and 25 and hit SELECT INTERVAL option and it will do what it says.

A New Google Drive Login!
Hi friends!
I love Solid Explorer. The option to drag files to other folders is amazing! The Cloud Manager too.
I only have one suggestion at the moment (although I use Android 4.4 and I do not know how it happens in other versions):
Google Drive login could be done "via browser" without havin to connect a new account in the device.
I do not see this as a problem, but separate device login would be better.

Add a tile to start/stop FTP. Attached pic is an example.

Size in confirmation box
While deleting file/folder the confirmation box should show the size of that file/folder

Support DocumentsProvider/Storage Access Framework
It would be great if Solid Explorer can access a DocumentsProvider created by another app (eg. google drive), this way you don't have to implement every single cloud services, if there's other app that can create a DocumentsProvider for that service. The built in Download app support this in the hamburger menu.

PC file transfer with web interface (as File commander app)
File Commander app have a very cool feature that allows the user to browse the phone storage through a web interface on your PC (connected to the same WiFi network as the phone). It could be awesome if Solid Explorer can have the same feature because I prefer Solid Explorer instead of File Commander (except for that feature).

Toast undo button after deleting
After deleting, popup toast with undo button should accure like google and many other apps are using. Or implement a recycle bin, this would make your app stand out, because not many apps has this functionality.

checksum paste button
After you calculate a checksum there is an option to copy it. It would be really useful if there was a paste button in the compare box. This would make verifying a downloaded file easier.

Please add Media player, documents viewer and editor and must please add passcode set-up for security purposes
Please add Media player built in look like a 'VLC Media player', add documents viewer that supports Power point files, PDF files, word files that increases your users base and it lead for increase your revenue. In addition you must add password/passcode for security purposes; In 21th century privacy and security must be needed by users.

liked it a lot .. neat trouble free navigation . extremely smother flicker free interface .. plz add a download manager function that helps
add a download manager function can download my files directly into my SD card rather than downloading it on my device storage just like the ES File Explorer but I like this file explorer in terms of design and flicker free experience . Download Manager function we will surely dominate this app over other file explorers for sure . ..
